Ursus Miura C50 Carbon V Brake Wheels

Miura C50 wheel is Ursus' concept for tubular tires. UD monocoque rims with a 50 mm profile featuring an HPS shield that ensures better heat dissipation from prolonged braking on carbon. Equipped with aluminum hubs featuring Ursus BBS low-friction technology; carbon-aluminum hubs are also available upon request.

SLN Self-Locking Nipples

Thanks to patented self-locking nipples, a perforated nylon ball is inserted into the edge of the spoke nipples, completely eliminating the problem of spoke loosening during deceleration, allowing the wheel to stay true over time.

BBS Ball Bearing System

A system where four bearings are inserted into the hub for optimal smoothness. In the area behind the rear wheel hub, two inline bearings prevent axle flex. Reducing flex eliminates power loss applied to the wheel.

HPS Heat Protection Shield

An important inorganic reinforced fiber system. The heat generated by the rim during braking is blocked by this special shield, preventing damage to the carbon's internal structure.

HIGH-TG Resin System

The carbon used in these rims is impregnated with a special resin that is highly resistant to the high temperatures created by brake pads on the rim. This results in less carbon deterioration over time and therefore better rim performance.

Reinforced Unidirectional UDR Carbon Fiber

This carbon fiber is designed to work along the main load force line. This allows maintaining a very high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The rim with this type of fiber is lighter and more resistant to loads and is reinforced with additional material at the nipples.
