Tufo C Elite S3 Tubular 28"23mm

Guaranteed specific weight. Despite the reduced weight, this tubular tire has excellent puncture resistance and mileage. The C Elite S3 <225g is the improved version of our best-selling tubular, the S3 Lite <215 g. In addition to the optimized tread design, the S3 <225 g tubular features a new casing with a higher TPI (210/275) and a wider section. The result: optimized and smoother riding.

Technologies

PUNCTURE PROOF PLY
Puncture-proof layer. Made of a rubber cord compound reinforced with CRCA (rubber compound with long aramid fibers).

PROTECTIVE RUBBER PLY
Protective rubber layer located under the tread. Indicates tire wear and a higher chance of punctures when it becomes visible.

SPC SILICA TREAD COMPOUND
We use this high-performance compound for most of our road tubulars. The Shore 66A hardness of this compound (made of natural and synthetic rubbers) and active silica provide the tubulars with excellent grip on wet asphalt as well as low rolling resistance.
