When the cover needs to deform in a specific way upon impact, the mounting bracket must remain firmly in place to protect the hand and lever without disturbing the rider.
The right balance between flexibility and rigidity is the foundation of the combination of these two parts.
The new mounting bracket has undergone several changes compared to the previous version

- 2-screw locking system for maximum rigidity and ease of installation.
- Wider bracket for greater lateral rigidity.
- A plastic ring between the bar and the bracket to reduce stress transfer to the handlebar and rotational forces (more grip with less NM).
