The shocks coming from the road are transmitted directly to the handlebar in the form of unpleasant vibrations, which quickly turn into annoying tingling in the hands, compromising comfort and grip on the handlebar. To absorb them and reduce them to a minimum, you would need a handlebar "with muscles": a simple but brilliant idea introduced by the Selle Italia Shock-Absorber Kit. The Shock-Absorber Kit consists of two elements: Bar Pad and SG_Tape. SG-Tape is a special tape with grip that ensures even greater comfort and better hold on the handlebar, providing benefits both in performance and safety while riding. The Bar Pads are made of three layers of different materials: the first, made of gel, helps simulate the behavior of a muscle, compressing under pressure and returning to its original shape within seconds as soon as the hand pressure is released. In addition to the gel layer, the addition of PU Foam and a third layer of Lycra help increase the softness of the Bar Pads.
