Prologo Scratch M5 Tirox Saddle

Scratch M5 is the iconic multidisciplinary saddle with a round and T-shape that, thanks to innovative technologies in terms of size, shape, and ergonomics, is loved by both professionals and the most demanding amateurs seeking an optimal combination of comfort and high performance.

The compact dimensions (250 x 140 mm) make it a unisex saddle perfect for use on the road as well as in gravel and Cross-Country and Marathon mountain biking.

Anatomical Shape

T-shape saddle that guarantees greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. The rear anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily change position using the entire length of the saddle. The round anatomical shape of the Scratch M5 allows an extra support to the lumbar band helping to maintain a stable position even for those with reduced pelvic mobility.

Technologies

The MSS - Multi Sector System seating system, designed in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, helps improve comfort and performance. The active and separate foams create 5 zones that work intelligently and individually, promoting the normal pedaling movement both in the push and pull phases.

The innovative Active Base technology makes the Scratch M5 model feature a perforated base but covered with light padding to eliminate pressure peaks in the pelvic-genital area. The closure of the prostate area also offers better protection of the genital zones in extreme weather conditions (rain or mud).

Base and Rail

The rail can be in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) made of carbon fiber, kevlar, and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists seeking maximum stiffness and lightness, or in Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long fiber carbon for Nack rails or injected carbon for Tirox rails. Materials that offer an excellent balance between stiffness and comfort.
