The SCOTT Spark DC Factory takes everything we know about cross-country dominance and applies it to a design built for bigger trails. Designed with more suspension travel for tougher terrain and paired with race-inspired performance, this model is purpose-built for mountain missions.

Every detail is considered to help you flow, climb, jump and descend with equal confidence. A low centre of gravity creates a planted, controlled ride and a stable pedalling platform that keeps you grounded through the chaos without wasting energy. Its light, responsive feel comes from a HMX carbon frame designed to make every gram count, delivering a ride worthy of the Spark heritage.

The suspension design draws directly on what we have learnt at World Cup level, in both XC and downhill. The result is a short-travel setup that refuses to be categorised: 140 mm at the front and 138 mm at the rear. The RockShox Pike Trail fork and SIDLuxe XL shock, both with electronically controlled Ultimate Flight Attendant, adapt in real time to the terrain ahead, so you can ride without limits, knowing your suspension settings are always perfect.

Equipped with the SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain with a power meter and SYNCROS Silverton CF1 wheels, the bike offers a taste of World Cup performance on whichever trail you choose.

Its capability extends well beyond setting a faster pace. Ample mounting points support a full bikepacking setup for multi-day escapes, while integrated frame storage keeps your MTB essentials close, such as our Save The Day kit. And when it is time for maintenance, suspension adjustments and component swaps are simple by design, so you can set the bike up exactly as you like and get back on the trail with minimal interruption.

This is the evolution of the short-travel MTB, a bike that opens up your riding to much more beyond the trails.

SCOTT was founded in 1958 in Sun Valley, USA, by engineer and skier Ed Scott, and is now headquartered in Givisiez, Switzerland. It offers bicycles, e-bikes, clothing and equipment for people who ride. In 1986, it introduced its first mountain bike.
