The SCOTT Spark DC 40 is conceived for riders who want more from every pedal stroke. A short-travel model that delivers speed and backcountry capability in a well-considered design, built to be your go-to for everything.
Every detail is designed for unlimited enjoyment on the trail.
The 140 mm of front travel and 138 mm of rear travel are ideal for climbing efficiently, carving descents with confidence and absorbing the hardest hits. A low centre of gravity improves stability through flowing trails and jump lines, while the lightweight HMF carbon frame delivers efficient acceleration and lively handling on both switchbacks and open singletrack. Together, they represent a step forward in what short-travel trail bikes should be.
The RockShox Pike fork and Deluxe Traction shock deliver traction, control and comfort: a setup that ensures a responsive, comfortable ride on the most demanding terrain. From lunchtime laps and focused sessions to weekend adventures, it is a combination created to enhance every second of the ride.
The component specifications complete a capable, considered package. The Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain delivers confident, reliable shifting in all conditions, while integrated frame storage and a dedicated mount make it easy to load the bike for longer days or light bikepacking when you want to put the bike to work.
Performance extends to practicality too. The design incorporates improved functionality and adjustability, so you can keep the bike dialled in and spend less time in the workshop and more time thinking about the trail ahead.
Please note that bike specifications are subject to change without notice.
