Scott Addict 10

The Addict 10 is one of our best-loved road bikes because it is so practical. It is as light as a race bike and redesigned to balance performance, comfort and budget perfectly over long distances, arguably making the Addict 10 the ideal road bike. Its geometry is central to the ride, being a little more relaxed and less compact than most race bikes. In the saddle, you will feel more open and upright thanks to a taller stack and shorter reach. The engineers have also modified the frame's HMX carbon lay-up to flex and absorb small bumps and long stretches of rough tarmac.

But the Addict 10 is anything but laid-back. It will hold speed at the front of the bunch, climb gradients effortlessly and fly downhill. The bike is just equally happy taking it slowly with your friends on a leisurely Sunday ride. And the Addict 10 is not limited to local routes if you want to push the pace beyond your usual rides. Tyre clearance is 38 mm, so if you are looking for a mixed-surface route to spice up your calendar, the Addict 10 is ready to roll more smoothly than other “all-road” bikes.

The Addict 10 goes wherever you go, however you want and for as long as you ride. And if you ride too long, the Save-The-Day kit in the frame opens up to help with an inner tube, tyre lever and mini pump. The Addict 10 is equipped with a wireless SRAM Force AXS 2× groupset and fast, stable Fulcrum Wind 42 Disc wheels with Schwalbe ONE tyres, so you can ride far at whatever speed you choose.

SCOTT was founded in 1958 in Sun Valley, USA, by engineer and skier Ed Scott, and is now headquartered in Givisiez, Switzerland. It offers bicycles, e-bikes, clothing and equipment for people who ride. In 1986, it introduced its first mountain bike.
