The 303 S features a redesigned rim profile and design to optimize performance for any rider who wants to rely on this new innovative product. Tubeless, for disc brakes, the 303 S allow the use of wide tires at low pressures to tackle even gravel roads.

The 303 S are among the lightest wheels in the Zipp range and are optimized to deliver the best aerodynamic performance with a 28 mm tire, but can fit off-road tires up to 50 mm wide.
The significant innovation is in the design of the new 303 S; the external rim width is increased by 2 mm, to 27 mm, and the tire bed is a full 7 mm wider, with 23 mm internal width. The ability to inflate the tire at lower pressures helps reduce rolling resistance and consequently provides a more comfortable ride.
In numbers, according to internal tests conducted by Zipp, riding on a flat road at 40 km/h with a 28 mm tire saves you as much as 10 watts.
