From Zipp engineers comes the 302 Carbon Clincher. With a 45 mm deep carbon rim made in Indianapolis, optimized for low aerodynamic drag and precise handling in all riding conditions.
To keep wheels light and easy to maintain, a center-lock brake rotor mounting interface is used on our 76D/176D hubs. The 76D/176D hub set also features replaceable end caps for thru-axle compatibility.
The 302 carbon rim is hand-built on the new Zipp 76D/176D hubs using Belgian CX-Sprint spokes and brass nipples to build a wheel that is fast and reliable, tough enough to survive spring classics or rough roads, yet light enough to tackle the steepest climbs.
The 302 rims, like all carbon rims, are made in Indianapolis. Since Zipp's founding in 1988, they have chosen to make carbon rims here for one reason: precision. With full control of the production process from start to finish, they build wheels that set the industry standard for precision.
