Vision SC 60 DB Road Wheels

The new SC60 develops the concepts of previous versions and features the latest VISION rims, also used in the METRON range, but with more traditional, less extreme construction methods. In particular, the aerodynamic carbon rim, available in depths of 45 or 60mm, has a hooked internal width of 21mm for maximum efficiency with tubeless tyres from 28 to 32mm [insert tyre compatibility table]. The 24 aerodynamic spokes with 2:1 crossed lacing are laced to straight-pull hubs. At the rear, the freewheel uses an improved version of the traditional ratchet mechanism, without bearing preload adjustment but with press-fit end caps, to make the wheels more reliable and easier to maintain. Our technicians carried out extensive road and laboratory testing to refine the construction of the entire system, resulting in significantly greater stability and performance, both in rolling efficiency and longevity. This type of wheel is often used with little maintenance, so we studied the decline in performance caused by use, improving every component and the fit between parts. Weight has also been reduced compared with previous versions, mainly through the use of modern structural carbon, reaching 1,590 g/pair for SC45 and 1,690 g/pair for SC60.
