The Bora Ultra WTO 45 Campagnolo is the perfect balance of speed, agility, and stability, the best choice for all-around cyclists. The rim design takes into account road riding conditions, not just those recreated in the wind tunnel, and the result is a profile shape that reduces aerodynamic drag in the most efficient way.

Now even lighter, thanks to its Hand Made Ultra-Light Carbon (H.U.L.C.) construction, the Bora Ultra WTO 45 has thinner elliptical Aero spokes and hidden nipples to help cut through the air. The carbon hub body with exclusive Campagnolo design is firmly fixed to an aluminum flange, and the integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment with the rim. An extraordinary C-LUX finish and a new slim Bora Ultra graphic make the wheels elegant and stylish.

Campagnolo's CULT ceramic bearings spin effortlessly both inside the aerodynamic front carbon hub and the rear aluminum hub. The oversized freewheel with a 36-tooth ratchet is compatible with N3W, XDR, or HG standards.

The Bora Ultra WTO 45 rims, designed for tire widths starting from 23 mm, are aerodynamically optimized for 25 mm tires.

Undeniable efficiency

• The overall wheel efficiency is determined by overcoming aerodynamic resistance, rolling resistance, and the effects of weight and gradient.

• The rolling resistance for this rim profile was found to be lower with a 19 mm internal channel, especially with 25 mm or 28 mm tires, but the aerodynamics are optimized for 25 mm tires.

• With a total weight (bike and rider) of 87 kg, the rolling resistance of a 25 mm tire at 40 km/h is as follows: tubular 30 watts, clincher 28 watts, tubeless 25 watts.

• For this reason, Bora Ultra WTO features 2-Way Fit rims for tubeless, tubeless ready, or clincher tires.

Perfect alignment

• Campagnolo stamps the nipple and valve holes directly on the rims to avoid having to drill the carbon fiber later.

• Each spoke hole has an internal seat for the nipple, wrapped inside the carbon rim lamination, aligned to a specific hub.

• The Aero Mo-Mag nipples are perfectly aligned with each spoke and allow for very precise wheel assembly, with reduced localized stresses and improved fatigue life.

Stop and go

• All new Bora Ultra WTO wheels are designed for AFS disc rotors (centerlock compatible).

• Campagnolo's exclusive G3 lacing system improves torque transfer.

• The CULT ceramic bearings used in Bora Ultra WTO hubs are 5 and a half times smoother than standard steel bearings.

• The oversize freehub with 36-tooth ratchet is responsive and very durable and is compatible with N3W, XDR, HG freehub bodies.
