Prologo - PROXIM W850 PERFORMANCE 143 PAS Saddle

"We want to create an innovative saddle for e-bikes: surprise us."

With these few words, Prologo issued a challenge to the Politecnico di Milano University. More precisely, this challenge was launched at Polifactory, a multidisciplinary research lab that brings together young and brilliant minds. A comprehensive project that began with an in-depth market analysis to thoroughly understand the sector, the target audience, and the competition, then aimed to transfer all this information into creating the best product the market can offer.

Proxim W850 Performance is the lightest saddle for e-bikes and enduro, using carbon and nylon to save the grams that count in racing. Durable and long-lasting to withstand impacts and the weight of e-bikes and enduro bikes. All of Prologo’s experience has allowed the creation of a comfortable and high-performance product, capable of guaranteeing many hours in the saddle.

Technical features:

? MSS - Multi Sector System: this system includes different mapped and separate zones on the saddle, each made up of various interactive foams and single-cell padding. The "islands" work independently, adapting to all the positions the cyclist may assume during pedaling.

? Optimized nose and PAS relief channel: Optimized size and shape. Support surface increased by 3 mm, with a 30° tilt and a flexible structure. The W850 also features PAS technology, a relief channel designed to reduce compression of soft tissues and numbness in the perineal area, promoting blood flow in the pelvic region.

? Rear cover and new shell: The material covering the rear part is designed to increase grip, ensuring performance in any weather condition. The Proxim W850 monocoque shell was specifically designed to house the new Multi-Sector System. The rear part is more concave to allow full support and adaptation of the foams even in areas with less pressure; this way, the entire seating area is not only supported but also follows every single movement.

? Rear handle and reflective graphics: The saddle is equipped with a rear "handle" to facilitate moving the bike, as well as graphics with reflective materials to improve safety.
