The XX Eagle Transmission (T-Type) cassette is the main reason why Eagle Transmission delivers the best inboard and outboard shifting performance under load. With the full X-Sync design, the harder you pedal, the better it shifts. Literally. Designed as integrated, interdependent drivetrain components, the cassette and XX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur make direct contact, ensuring perfect alignment on every bike. With a huge 520% gear range, the 52-tooth sprocket steps down with improved gear progression, using 44- and 38-tooth sprockets at the lower end (compared with the Eagle drivetrain cassette with 10 to 52 teeth). It lasts much longer and offers greater precision by using less extreme chain angles throughout the range. A clearly marked setup sprocket makes installation simple and foolproof. It uses a hardened steel X-Dome design for the cluster, while the stamped steel 38T and 44T sprockets are attached to the lighter aluminium 12th sprocket. (Spider sprocket)

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
