Technologies

DualCupTech
DualCupTech™ automatically aligns the bearing faces regardless of external factors. Alignment between the bearings on both sides is crucial, and the manufacturing process pays special attention to minimizing this concentricity value. The result is incredible: an extremely smooth pedal stroke from day one. DualCupTech™ not only self-aligns the bearings but also creates a solid central junction without requiring threading or one-piece design. The result after assembly is that the bottom bracket functions as a solid piece and eliminates any noise or movement issues. DualCupTech™ can be installed and removed like any other bottom bracket, without the need for special tools or complex instructions.

Ceramic ball bearings
Experienced manufacturer of high-performance bearings. Ceramic ball bearings offer superior corrosion resistance, greater dimensional stability, lower density, and higher heat resistance. All this results in a more efficient material for bottom brackets.

Fully sealed
Every speck of dust or drop of water is a potential cause of noise or bearing wear. That’s why all bottom brackets come with up to five O-rings to keep dust, water, mud, and moisture out of the bottom bracket.

Axial seals
All bearings are equipped with not one but TWO seals to protect against dust and moisture ingress. This section is essential to ensure maximum durability and performance of the bottom bracket.

7075-T6 aluminum
Aerospace quality and precision in one of the strongest alloys. Additionally, Bikone has developed a matte anodizing that is particularly scratch-resistant, with a finish worthy of any art gallery.

T6 heat treatment
For most aluminum alloys: 6061, 6063, and 7075, the best heat treatment is T6. The T6 heat treatment ensures greater hardness and other mechanical properties, such as grain structure normalization. This guarantees that all our aluminum products perform perfectly throughout their lifespan.

Note: for proper compatibility, MTB crankarms must always be mounted on MTB frames and road crankarms on road frames.
