Vision Metron 5D ACR Evo Integrated Handlebar

The 5D EVO retains all the aspects that made the 5D family unique, from the 10° forward sweep angle, which helps improve breathing on the toughest climbs, to the integrated cable routing introduced in 2019 with the ACR version. However, it has been updated to be even lighter, weighing just 320 g, while also increasing stiffness and vibration absorption, with the aim of efficiently giving the rider maximum control of the bike over every centimetre of tarmac. Aerodynamics have also been improved by lowering the stack by 1.5 cm. But Vision did more than create the perfect racing handlebar; Vision wanted it to be the best for keen cyclists who dream of riding like their champions, without a product overly focused on pure performance. That is why Vision changed the ergonomics, introducing an additional size and adjusting the reach (L-XL), so everyone can feel perfectly comfortable on the bike.

Performance
Vision worked alongside the best athletes from our World Tour teams, studying the characteristics of the perfect handlebar with them. The new 5D EVO retains the distinctive features of the 5D range, improving the construction to increase stiffness while also providing better vibration absorption without compromising ride feel.

Ergonomics and comfort
Vision worked to make the 5D EVO perfect for more than just athletes of all levels. That is why Vision changed the ergonomics by introducing an additional size and adjusting the reach (L-XL), while retaining the renowned 10° forward sweep in the central wing section.

Aerodynamics
Thanks to CFD analysis and wind tunnel studies, all shapes have been refined and improved to be even more aerodynamic. In particular, the stack has been lowered by 15 mm compared with previous versions to ensure more efficient, reduced airflow around the steering area.
