With the new GUSTAV PRO, MAGURA presents a new disc brake for use in e-MTBs, as well as Gravity mountain bikes and SUVs - and it’s much more than just braking power!

Performance in the name

All riders familiar with the MT7 know we mean business when it comes to performance, and with this brake, we’ve taken it a step further! For greater control, consistently ready braking, and less hand and arm fatigue. To be honest, anyone can produce brakes capable of stopping light bikes, but our latest creation can easily brake even the heaviest bikes. MAGURA has now opened a completely new perspective on bicycle brakes with the 2.5 mm thick GUSTAV PRO rotors and 40% more pad volume. For consistent performance from the top to the bottom!
Thanks to their size, the rotors and pads heat up much less and stay in optimal condition longer, so the brake can consistently offer riders the best performance with the best possible friction values.
Fading? This brake doesn’t even know what that is!
When you pull the lever, you’ll immediately notice how intuitive our brake’s operation is.
We reduced the overall pressure level by widening the pistons to 12 mm in the brake lever and 19 mm in the caliper, so less pressure is lost due to hose expansion. This results in a well-defined contact point with exceptional modulation.

Despite its pure power, GUSTAV PRO offers a calm braking feel like no other brake can, giving riders the highest possible level of safety in every situation.
Even under full load, the rigid 2.5 mm rotors and minimal system overheating ensure vibration-free and particularly smooth braking.

GUSTAV PRO is also fully compatible with Bosch eBike ABS.
