The SRAM RED E1 crankset is a 12-speed carbon eMTB crankset with one-piece double chainrings in 50-37, 48-35 and 46-33-tooth combinations. The X-Range system minimises cadence changes when shifting between the front chainrings, providing smoother gear progression.
Designed for eMTB riders looking for a crankset that is 29 g lighter than the previous generation. Available lengths are 160, 165, 167.5, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm: choose according to your height and riding position. The model shown has a 45.0 mm chainline and can be upgraded with a power meter. Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
