Vittoria has a tailored answer for every need: with Corsa Control, you can tackle the slipperiest cobbles and the roughest roads with confidence and safety. In addition to the reinforced Corespun-K 320 TPI casing and 4C graphene technology, Corsa Control also features a more aggressive tread pattern on the shoulders, providing better tyre performance, greater grip on particularly slippery surfaces and increased durability.
Technologies
Graphene 2.0
With the aim of pushing beyond the limits of what is thought possible, Vittoria has developed a new generation of graphene: Graphene 2.0. Unlike first-generation graphene, the new Graphene 2.0 is designed to improve specific tyre performance characteristics. In other words, while the first generation of graphene compounds raised performance uniformly, Graphene 2.0 targets individual performance measures and increases them disproportionately compared with the others. Vittoria can now use graphene to deliver targeted performance increases, improving speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance in turn.
4C
A tyre's compound, together with its casing, determines how well it grips the road. Vittoria constantly researches new compounds to produce tyres with ever greater performance, grip and durability. In all conditions.
Developed exclusively by Vittoria to achieve ever greater performance, Vittoria 4C is a layering process in which 4 compounds with unique characteristics are combined within a single tyre.
Vittoria Tubeless-Ready Road
Tubeless-ready (TLR) construction allows the tyre to be used without an inner tube. Liquid sealant can be added inside the tyre to prevent air loss in the event of a puncture. Vittoria's TLR construction delivers high-level performance. The Zylon bead (a strong, latest-generation material) has a special shape that locks perfectly onto the wheel rim to ensure a perfect pressure seal. Vittoria's TLR tyres with cotton casings share the same manufacturing process and properties as tubular tyres. For maximum safety, this construction is designed to withstand up to 18 bar on a standard tubeless steel rim.
Founded in 1953 in Madone, in the province of Bergamo, Vittoria is now based in Brembate and makes bicycle tyres, tubular tyres and inner tubes. From road cycling to mountain biking, it supports cyclists with products that also use graphene in their tyre compounds.
