Schwalbe Pro One Tyre

The Schwalbe Pro One 700x30C tyre is a folding road bike tyre for 28-inch wheels in size 30-622. This is the TT (tube type) version, designed for use with an inner tube, and it is approved for e-bikes up to 25 km/h. The tread uses ADDIX RACE compound and includes V-GUARD puncture protection, with a 127 TPI casing.

The colour is black and the stated weight is 275 g. To choose the size, check the clearance in the frame and between the brakes: the 30 width offers more volume than narrower sizes, but requires more clearance. Also check rim compatibility before buying.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
