The Scorpion™ Enduro range is developed for riders who need to focus their attention on grip and lateral puncture resistance thanks to HardWALL technology, maintaining a great sense of security in all weather conditions, both dry and wet.

Designed for the rear wheel: special knobs that provide grip in traction and braking. This tire is perfect for those looking for a balanced setup for their bike. A tread with medium profile and spacing, specifically for rear use to ensure traction and stability on a variety of different terrains, from hard to soft. Scorpion™ Enduro R creates a perfect combo when paired with Scorpion™ Enduro M on the front.

The tread of Scorpion™ Enduro R is developed for use on the same terrains as the Scorpion™ Enduro M, with knobs of medium height and spacing and a wide range of use. The specific design of the central knobs, derived from Pirelli's experience in motocross, increases grip and stability both in braking and traction to give Scorpion™ Enduro R unique dynamic and reliability characteristics.

Features

  • Protection: Tear-resistant compound, robust 60tpi nylon casing, and additional 120tpi sidewall reinforcement for improved puncture and cut protection without compromising performance.
  • Grip: The SmartGRIP compound ensures high adhesion on both wet surfaces; weather is no longer a problem, no compromise on grip in dry or wet conditions.
  • Handling: Tire profile optimized for modern aluminum or carbon rims with wide internal channels.
  • Damping: TUBELESS READY casing in robust 60tpi Nylon, developed to absorb shocks and vibrations, making low-pressure riding more stable and providing a wider contact patch.


Technologies

SmartGRIP Compound

SmartGrip Compound is a compound that uses the most advanced chemical technologies to achieve two typically opposing characteristics in the offroad world: mechanical resistance and chemical grip. This formulation allows reaching such a level of performance that it can be used throughout the entire rubber layer composing the tread. The use of a single compound ensures that performance does not decrease as the tread wears, a critical issue typical of multi-layer compounds. Pirelli chooses the best compound for each tread and size, with no compromise between grip and handling on dry and wet surfaces.

HardWALL

Casing structure with heel-to-heel protection and a hard rubber insert above the bead for reliability suitable for aggressive riding styles. Developed based on modern bikes, the multiple reinforcements incorporated in the structure focus on improving reliability and ensuring better support at low pressures.


MTB Rear Specific

The tread of Scorpion™ MTB Rear Specific is developed for use on the same terrains as the Scorpion™ MTB Mixed Terrain, with knobs of medium height and spacing and a wide range of use dedicated to mixed conditions, whether dry or wet. The specific design of the central knobs, derived from Pirelli's experience in motocross, increases grip and stability both in braking and traction to give this tire unique dynamic and reliability characteristics, offering excellent rolling performance on mixed terrains.
