The Maxxis Minion DH tyre is one of Maxxis's most aggressive. Designed for enduro and downhill, Minion tyres perform perfectly on dry terrain thanks to their directional double centre knobs, which reduce resistance on dry terrain. The outer section provides the extra stability and grip needed for high-speed cornering.

WT - Wide Trail
WT construction optimises the tyre's tread and volume to suit modern rims. Traditional tyres are designed around narrower rims and risk creating an excessively square profile, reducing performance. WT tyres are optimised for 35 mm wide rims and work correctly with 30 and 35 mm rims.TR- Tubeless Ready
UST-certified Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tyres feature the latest technology for lighter tubeless tyres. This technology offers better puncture resistance, improved air retention and greater strength at a lower weight than earlier tubeless designs. Adding a thin layer of fabric coated with a special rubber compound creates a lighter, stronger and more airtight casing.
EXO+-Protection
A new EXO+ construction combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer extends from bead to bead, with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Together, these two materials create EXO+, improving tread puncture protection by 27%, sidewall strength by 51% and pinch-flat resistance by 28%.
3CT MaxxTerra
An intermediate compound configuration is used in selected mountain bike tyres. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers greater traction than 3C Maxx Speed, and is also more wear-resistant with lower rolling resistance.
