NyTech Breaker

The new NyTech Puncture Protection was developed based on the proven Continental SafetySystem puncture protection. The nylon makes it as resistant to punctures and cuts as Kevlar reinforced with high-density fibers but offers lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. The NyTech system sits between the SafetySystem and PolyX and is the most efficient puncture protection system in its segment.

PureGrip Compound

Based on an active silica compound, this technology was originally created for mid-range products but after intense development at the Research and Development center in Korbach (Germany), a new advanced compound with excellent grip and properties suitable for cross-country was born.
The new rubber compound, whose name PureGrip speaks for itself, ranks just below BlackChili and is used in high-end products both in road and MTB sectors. Along with great grip, it also guarantees long durability – both characteristics of Continental tires – which are exclusively manufactured at the Hefei factory (Asia).
