P ZERO™ Race TLR SL leverages the lightness of the new TechWALL construction and a World Tour-derived slick tread. The result is a tubeless-ready race tire with absolute performance. P ZERO™ Race TLR SL 28-622 is compatible with hookless rims respecting the maximum ETRTO inflation limits at 5bar/73psi. P ZERO™ Race TLR SL 24-622 and P ZERO™ Race TLR SL 26-622 are NOT compatible with hookless rims.

SmartEVO Compound

The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific performance qualities to achieve the optimal balance of opposing characteristics, such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has leveraged over 100 years of experience developing compounds in Motorsport, always pushing its products to the highest level in every discipline. This extensive R&D knowledge allowed Pirelli to create a ternary polymer blend with "intelligent" performance features for bicycle tires as the basis of the exceptional properties of the SmartEVO compound, resulting in better dry and wet grip while also providing lower rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a high-performance compound designed and tuned for all modern road cycling disciplines, from local races or World Tour to epic adventures, where climate and road surfaces demand high-performance tires in every circumstance.
