Sram Rival eTAP AXS E1 Shifter

The new lever design is engineered to be used with just one finger, and its shape fits all hand sizes. The brake piston is now positioned horizontally, and the pivot has been moved 5mm further out and higher, changing from a first-class to a second-class lever system. This, combined with the fact that the caliper is now lighter yet stiffer, requires 80% less braking force compared to the previous eTAP AXS. The lever material is carbon, making the whole unit 83 grams lighter than the previous generation.
