The X-SL series are the lightest chains at this level of the range. Additionally, the weight reduction brings many advantages such as faster gear shifting, pedaling comfort, and also a significant reduction in chain wear. This proved impressive during testing, especially thanks to the links which, due to their open structure, allow impurities to be easily removed.
The hollow pin of the links is riveted using our brand-new "FLAT STEP" process, which seals the outer link with an impressive bonding strength of 350 kg, making it the strongest connection in the industry.
