The MET Trenta 3K Carbon helmet is a high-end model from the Italian brand reserved for the most demanding cyclists! It was used by the professionals of Team Dimension Data on the roads of the 2017 Tour de France. The aerodynamic shape follows the Venturi principle, with various exit channels all over the shell to better expel hot air inside the helmet.
A solid and lightweight helmet made with the in-mold process, with an outer polycarbonate shell directly fused with the EPS foam layer, which in turn includes a 3K carbon structure that increases solidity and elasticity. The internal padding is made of breathable Air Mesh foam.
The Trenta 3K Carbon helmet features the Safe-T Orbital occipital system with a micrometric dial adjustable on the horizontal and vertical axes (4 clicks).

3K Carbon system
The Met Trenta construction outperforms any other helmet on the market!
The R&D team discovered that the elasticity of carbon allows reducing the density of the EPS foam by 20% without compromising its energy absorption capacity. The parallel "ribs" are connected by a carbon cage embedded in the lining, making it significantly lighter than a traditional construction. The result is a lightweight helmet with better performance that sets a new standard.
Safe-T Orbital fit system
A band all around the helmet offers 360-degree adjustment, 3 vertical positions, and two different positions on the occipital plane. Compatible with ponytail.
Air Mesh
Air Mesh stands for functionality and comfort. It is a three-dimensional, snag-resistant fabric with abrasion resistance of over 50,000 cycles, and it also guarantees top-level breathability.
