The IBEX 2.0 is an ultralight and comfortable helmet designed to provide optimal ventilation. Its particular shape improves aerodynamics and allows heat to evacuate more quickly. Developed in HJC’s wind tunnel, the IBEX 2.0 integrates Venturi Dynamics to balance air resistance force. Thanks to its imposing and well-balanced design, the helmet is perfect for intense effort and warmer weather conditions. Weighing about 230g and featuring a total of 16 vents, this perfectly ventilated helmet will surprise you with its aerodynamics. It also includes more classic features such as: adjustable occipital cradle, glasses support, strap separator, and X-Static antibacterial padding.

Selfit™
Selfit is a self-adjusting automatic fitting system that is a revolutionary technology for a perfect bike helmet fit. Once the helmet fit is set for the head, it requires no further adjustments, even when the head moves during the ride. The SELFIT system automatically adjusts the fit and provides consistent fit and comfort for the head.

5-level snap fit
5 snap-lock positions offer consistent fit and comfort for all different head shapes and sizes. The rider can precisely adjust the fit, achieving a helmet that perfectly suits every type of riding.

Tested in the wind tunnel
HJC helmets are tested in the lab and in “real life” to meet the highest quality standards. HJC is one of the very few helmet companies with its own wind tunnel to test aerodynamics, ventilation, noise, and more. The HJC wind tunnel lab measures air forces in various riding conditions to improve helmet performance.

Aerodynamic Design
Coming from the experience of designing the MotoGP helmet, HJC's designers and engineers have become experts in aerodynamics and ventilation. Aero helmets, as the name suggests, are more aerodynamic than traditional road bike helmets but with compromised ventilation performance. With HJC helmets, this compromise is greatly reduced. HJC probably offers the best semi-aero ventilated helmet on the market.

Advanced ventilation system
A certain amount of air passes through the front air intake duct, then circulates inside the helmet and finally exits through the exhaust duct. The internal airflow is thus improved to cool the head and dissipate heat.

Venturi Dynamics
To achieve maximum ventilation, a technical adaptation of Bernoulli's principle is applied to HJC's aerodynamically improved models. In motion, the surface flow speed generally increases as it moves toward the rear of the helmet. Through pressure differences, cold air from the front intake is drawn out through the rear vent, dissipating internal heat and ensuring the cyclist optimal ventilation and perfect airflow while riding.

In-Mold Construction
In-mold is a method that consists of welding the EPS together with the outer polycarbonate shell for greater structural strength. This improves cyclist protection by providing compact reinforcement and giving the product a perfect finish.

Internal reinforcement structure
Helmets are reinforced with an internal structure integrated into the EPS; the frame not only keeps the helmet in one piece but also makes it stronger and more durable to protect the head in case of collision.

Ultra Lightweight
HJC bicycle helmets are designed with precise measurements to achieve the lowest possible weight. Density, positioning, shapes, and materials play an important role in weight optimization.

Technologies

Coolpath™
Coolpath is a new technology patented by HJC. By replacing the internal padding, it allows fresh air to flow around the head and improves comfort during cycling. The fresh airflow and the helmet's lightness enhance the fit and offer an excellent riding experience.
