Schwalbe SV6 Inner Tube

The Schwalbe SV6 inner tube is a standard replacement for bikes with 20-inch wheels and ETRTO 28/40-406 tyres. It has a SV (Sclaverand, Presta) valve measuring 40 mm long, is made from butyl and weighs 95 g. It is suitable if you need to replace a punctured or worn inner tube on your 20-inch bike.

Check the size printed on the tyre before ordering: it must fall within the ETRTO range 28/40-406. Also check that the rim hole is compatible with the SV valve, which is a Presta type. Inflate it only slightly before fitting so the inner tube sits inside the tyre without folds.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
