Schwalbe SV3 Inner Tube

The Schwalbe SV3 inner tube is a standard replacement for bikes with 16-inch wheels and ETRTO 47→62-305 tyres. It has a SV valve measuring 40 mm, is made from butyl and weighs 115 g. It is for replacing a punctured or worn inner tube without changing the rest of the bike.

Before buying, check the size printed on the tyre sidewall: it must fall within the 47→62-305 range. Also check your wheel's valve type, as this version has a SV valve and must be checked against the rim hole. Inflate it slightly before fitting so the inner tube takes shape without twisting between the rims.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
