Shimano Shadow RD

Thanks to the Shimano Shadow RD mechanism, the new derailleur is designed for a more aggressive riding style. The low-profile design offers numerous advantages as well as a unique tensioning system that prevents the derailleur from contacting the chain on very rough terrain. The result is efficient and very quiet operation.

Direct Mount Rear Derailleur

The rear wheels are easier to remove with a mounting option for Shimano Shadow RD and Shimano Shadow RD+ derailleurs. The direct mount is designed for a wide range of modern frames with large-section chainstays, especially for mountain bikes with thru-axle dropouts. High flexibility regarding frame design. No special tools required (M10x1 mounting bolt, no e-clip)!
