AGU was founded in Alkmaar in 1966 through the merger of three wholesalers and is now based in Amsterdam. It makes cycling clothing, rainwear and bags to accompany cyclists on rides and everyday journeys. In 1974, it brought lightweight bicycle bags from Japan to Europe.
