The 80mm profile was chosen after extensive studies and careful calculations to ensure the best balance between weight, aerodynamic efficiency and wheel handling. Built using ultralight carbon (H.U.L.C.) handcrafted by Campagnolo, the rims feature the Luxury mirror finish (C-LUX) and undrilled 2-Way Fit rim beds for perfect tyre compatibility without rim tape. The all-new aerodynamic spokes with hidden nipples reduce aerodynamic drag, while CULT ceramic bearings minimise friction. The specially designed carbon hub body is securely attached to an aluminium flange, and the integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment. As with all Bora Ultra wheels, the rim bed is undrilled, making tubeless installation simple and significantly increasing rim stiffness and integrity. The Bora Ultra WTO 80 sets the new standard for deep-section wheels suited to time trials and high-speed stages.

Founded in Vicenza in 1933 by Tullio Campagnolo, Campagnolo is still based in the Italian city and makes groupsets and wheels for road and gravel bikes. Its history also includes the wheel quick release, a mechanism the company refined to allow the wheel to be removed without tools.
