DESCRIPTION
The cape is ultra-lightweight and protects against the wind without preventing sweat breathability: mesh zones are inserted under the arms to improve ventilation and maintain stable body thermoregulation without tiring the athlete. The cape has been made with a close-fitting cut to prevent the fabric from fluttering during use.
This practical garment helps to counter sudden weather changes, such as unexpected wind and rain.
It folds into a handy pouch that is easy and convenient to carry anywhere, so you are never caught unprepared by bad weather.
The integrated hood can also cover a BIKE helmet.
HOW AND WHEN TO WEAR IT
The WINDJACKET 3D cape with windproof hood is recommended during periods when temperatures range from +5° to +25°. It has been tested for road cycling and MTB, and the integrated hood can also cover the helmet: in both situations, it proved extremely comfortable and protective against wind and light rain. Check which size suits you based on your body characteristics, choose the color, and find out the day you can wear it and train with a technical and high-performance base layer product. The cape is guaranteed by Biotex experience. The garment does not lose its technical qualities over the years or after many washes: the important thing is to follow some simple rules for garment care.

The WINDJACKET line by Biotex is the first barrier against water and wind. The protective membrane and double seams prevent water penetration for several hours. These garments, particularly lightweight and compact, can be easily packed into a pouch that fits in the jacket or jersey pocket.

GARMENT CARE
Take care of your Biotex garments to ensure long-lasting use. It is recommended to wash the garment before use to avoid possible color transfer to other garments. To maintain its characteristics unchanged, a gentle wash inside out at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying are advised. Make sure everything is properly closed: zippers, buttons, Velcro. Avoid or reduce the use of fabric softeners (they inhibit breathability). Do not place on radiators or other direct heat sources and do not use an iron. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment's effectiveness. Bright/fluo colors may fade.
