Bergamont E-Cargoville LJ Edition Electric Cargo Bike with LJ Load Unit

The Bergamont E-Cargoville LJ Edition is a new electric cargo bike with a LJ Load Unit, offering a 50 cm or 70 cm cargo area. It combines a Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor, Shimano Deore drivetrain and Magura brakes: it is suitable if you carry shopping, bags or luggage on your city journeys.

This is a cargo bike designed to think big: the Bergamont E-Cargoville LJ Edition permits a total weight of 220 kg, including the bike, rider, accessories and load.

• Cargo area: The LJ Load Unit offers 50x45 cm or 70x45 cm platforms and supports up to 90 kg.
• Bosch motor: The Performance Line Cruise Gen. 3 250 W motor offers assistance up to 25 km/h.
• Battery and display: The Bosch PowerTube 500 Wh battery powers the system, paired with the Bosch Intuvia display.
• Shimano Deore drivetrain: The RD-M5100 Shadow Plus rear derailleur uses 11-speed shifters, a 11-51t cassette and a FSA crankset with 38t.
• Magura brakes: The Magura CMe5 brakes are 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, with MDR-C 180 mm rotors.
• Urban equipment: A rack and Racktime Alumee mudguards complete the equipment, together with a Syncros Capilano Trekking saddle with memory foam.

Bergamont traces its origins to 1993, in a small workshop in Hamburg, and is associated with founder Stefan Berkes. Today it is based in the St. Pauli district and offers gravel bikes, urban and trekking e-bikes, and electric cargo bikes. Its story begins beside the Schlachthof, the city’s historic slaughterhouse.
