Deda Superbox DCR Stem

The evolution of the current Superbox to the DCR system for complete cable integration. 1 stem, 4 mountings. The stem can be used in 4 different ways to fit any cable routing solution on the market: DCR, S-DCR, Direct, and External. Together with Deda handlebars featuring the DCR system (Deda internal cable routing), the stem is the perfect solution for bikes with fully integrated cable routing. The Superbox® stem features a patented solution offering two possible options for internal cable routing. The solution with fully internal cable routing (DCR) or semi-integrated (S-DCR) through a cover that allows installation, adjustment, or maintenance without complications for electrical cable or hydraulic hose connections. Superbox® can be mounted on a traditional 1-1/8” steerer tube and is compatible with frame steerer tubes of 46 mm (for 1-1/8” bearing) or 56 mm (for 1.5” bearing). Completing the stem design is a series of spacers with channels for cable routing. The spacers and cover are designed to open without removing any cable from the frame for easy handlebar height adjustment. The innovative forging process of the stem with a flat shape ensures better aerodynamics. The addition of 70 and 80 sizes makes the Superbox stem the best choice also for MTB and gravel bikes. Available in POB (Polish on black) finish.

For mounting Alanera and Superbox on some bicycle models, a specific plug adapter is required (Colnago C64 & V3RS) or insert (BMC, Cervélo & Factor).

For mounting Alanera and Superbox on some bicycle models, a specific compression ring is required: Bottecchia Emme4 (HDCOMPRDCRBOT); Dare VSRu (HDCOMPRDCR-DA); Merida Scultura (HDCOMPRDCR-ME); Bianchi Oltre Race, Sprint - Focus Izalco Max - Rose Xlite, Reveal, Backroad (HDCOMPR-ACROSX).

For Orbea, Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, ARC8, the specific adapter must be used as the first spacer under the stem. *In the case of Tarmac SL8, the adapter must be used together with the spacer kit and top cover of the original equipment handlebar stem mounted on the SL7.

In the case of Ridley and Colnago V3 (MY23), we recommend purchasing separately the Alanera & Superbox top cap for D-Shape forks (code HDSBXTP-4DX).
