Favero Assioma DUO shi

The Assioma DUO-Shi road bike power meter was designed for cyclists loyal to the Shimano® road standard, as it allows you to keep riding with your own Shimano® SPD-SL® pedal bodies* without sacrificing Assioma’s reliability and accuracy.

Assioma DUO-Shi is compatible with the following Shimano® SPD-SL® pedal bodies: PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PD-R550, and PD-R540.

Installation on your Shimano® pedal bodies:

• Installing the Assioma DUO-Shi power sensor on your compatible Shimano® SPD-SL® pedal bodies* is simple and quick. 

Increased Q-factor?

• The Q-factor of the Assioma Look® version is +54mm, while the Assioma DUO-Shi measures +64mm with PD-R7000/R550/R540 pedal bodies and +65mm with PD-R8000/6800.
• Despite initial hesitation regarding the increase in Q-factor, we decided to proceed with the project, considering that our body size (weight, hip width, etc.) is a subjective factor that can help determine the most suitable Q-factor for each of us.
• Positive feedback from our beta testers has definitively validated the product.

Easy to install:

• The Assioma DUO-Shi power sensors install and move from one bike to another like a regular pedal: in just a few minutes, without special tools and without mechanic assistance.

IAV Cycling Dynamics:

• Our power meters offer advanced metrics such as IAV Cycling Dynamics (IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position) which, together with classic power data, allow detailed analysis of pedaling technique and how the rider’s position on the bike affects performance.

IAV Power System and gyroscope:

• Unlike others, Assioma measurements take into account our irregular pedaling (e.g., sprints, climbs) or the use of oval chainrings when calculating power, thus guaranteeing an accuracy of ±1% in any situation. This is because Assioma can detect the actual instantaneous angular velocity of the pedal stroke.

Bluetooth and ANT+:

• Assioma DUO-Shi is equipped with Bluetooth and ANT+ technology for secure data transmission to both bike computers and Android and iOS smartphones.

Real Left/Right balance data:

• Data provided by the Assioma DUO-Shi SPD-SL® dual power meter are based on separate measurements from the right and left sides; this allows accurate observation of not only total power but also Left/Right balance.

Measurement stability:

• Thanks also to ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation), our power meter ensures not only accuracy but also repeatability and consistency of measurements in real road conditions and at any temperature between -10°C and 60°C.

Waterproof, durable, and lightweight:

• Protected by a two-component resin block, the sensor of our power meter is extremely shock-resistant and completely waterproof.

Rechargeable and eco-friendly:

• Favero Assioma DUO-Shi uses built-in rechargeable batteries: a single charge guarantees at least 50 hours of use.
