The Redshift handlebar shim is a spacer that allows handlebars with clamping diameters of 25.4 mm and 26 mm to be fitted to ShockStop stems. Installation is simple, and the shim must be inserted before securing the handlebar.
It is useful if you have a 25,4 or 26 mm handlebar and want to fit it to a ShockStop stem. Before buying, measure the handlebar diameter at the clamp area and compare it with 25.4 mm or 26 mm: if the measurement does not match, the shim is not suitable. If you already use a ShockStop stem, it is the most direct solution to avoid changing components. Always check compatibility before ordering.
