The Reverse HG single-speed kit converts a rear hub with a HG fitting to single-speed, meaning just one gear. It includes a 13-tooth chainring, 7 spacers and a lockring in the same colour as the spacers. It is a simple solution for anyone wanting a bike with one gear and no rear derailleur.
The 7 mm flange transfers power optimally and gently to the hub body. More common 2.8 mm steel chainrings are more likely to bite into the aluminium body, whereas this flange distributes the force more evenly. The kit is compatible with 1- to 11-speed chains, in 1/8 or 3/32 inch widths. Available in black, blue, gold, green, orange, purple, red, silver and light blue.
