SRAM RED E1 2x Road Chainring Kit

The SRAM RED E1 2x chainring kit is the aluminium front crankset for road bikes with double chainrings, designed for those who want precise shifting. The one-piece construction aims to make chain shifts quicker, smoother and more secure.

The X-Range system offers a wider gear range and more even progression, so you can always find the right gear. To choose the combination, consider your terrain: 48/35T and 50/37T, where the first number is the large chainring. Large chainrings are for riding fast on the flat, while small ones are for tackling climbs. Fitting is direct mount and the system is 12-speed.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
