The Zipp G40 XPLR tyre is a 700x40c tubeless gravel tyre designed for tracks, dirt, stones and mud. The central chevron tread is fast and smooth-rolling, while the sides feature XC-style knobs that bite when cornering control is needed. The casing has bead-to-bead aramid puncture protection to help protect against sidewall cuts.
The 40 mm width provides control on uneven surfaces and was chosen to work with the tread. The tyre is tubeless ready and compatible with inner tubes and hookless rims. The recommended pressure is between 30 and 65 psi, with 127 TPI and a weight of 480 g. The manufacturer recommends pairing it with the 303 rim. It is black with tan sidewalls.
