The Scorpion™ Enduro range is developed for riders who need to focus on grip and sidewall puncture resistance thanks to HardWALL technology, maintaining a strong sense of confidence in all weather conditions, dry or wet.

Designed for the rear wheel: special knobs provide grip under acceleration and braking. This tyre is perfect for riders seeking a balanced setup for their bike. A tread with medium-height knobs and medium spacing, specifically for rear use, ensures traction and stability on a variety of terrain, from hard to soft. Scorpion™ Enduro R creates a perfect combination when paired with Scorpion™ Enduro M at the front.

The Scorpion™ Enduro R tread is developed for use on the same terrain as Scorpion™ Enduro M, with medium-height knobs and medium spacing for a wide range of uses. The specific central knob design, derived from Pirelli's motocross experience, increases grip and stability under both braking and acceleration, giving Scorpion™ Enduro R unique handling and reliability characteristics.

Features

  • Protection: Tear-resistant compound, tough 60tpi nylon casing and additional 120tpi sidewall reinforcement for improved puncture and cut protection without compromising performance.
  • Grip: The SmartGRIP compound ensures high grip on wet surfaces; the weather is no longer a problem, with no compromise in grip in dry or wet conditions.
  • Handling: Tyre profile optimised for modern aluminium or carbon rims with a wide internal width.
  • Damping: Tough 60tpi nylon TUBELESS READY casing, developed to absorb impacts and vibrations for more stable riding at low pressures and a larger contact patch.

Technologies

SmartGRIP Compound

SmartGrip Compound uses the most advanced chemical technologies to achieve two characteristics that are typically at odds in off-road riding: mechanical strength and chemical grip. This formulation delivers a level of performance that allows it to be used throughout the entire rubber layer forming the tread. Using a single compound ensures that performance does not decline as the tread wears, a problem typical of multilayer compounds. Pirelli chooses the best compound for each tread and size, with no compromise between grip and handling in dry or wet conditions.

HardWALL

Casing structure with bead-to-bead protection and a hard rubber insert above the bead for reliability suited to aggressive riding styles. Developed around modern bikes, the multiple reinforcements incorporated into the structure focus on improving reliability and ensuring better support at low pressures.

MTB Rear Specific

The tread of Scorpion™ MTB Rear Specific is developed for use on the same terrain as Scorpion™ MTB Mixed Terrain, with medium-height knobs and medium spacing for a wide range of uses in mixed conditions, dry or wet. The specific central knob design, derived from Pirelli's motocross experience, increases grip and stability under both braking and acceleration to give this tyre unique handling and reliability characteristics, offering excellent rolling performance on mixed terrain.
