Ceramic Speed T47 Shimano Bottom Bracket

T47/86 Bottom Bracket for Shimano

T47 is a new bottom bracket shell design that uses the oversized interface of PF30 and EVO386, but with the benefit and peace of mind of a threaded interface. This bottom bracket allows you to install Shimano and other cranks with a 24 mm-diameter through-spindle in a T47 shell.

It is compatible with 86 mm-wide frames and also with TREK T47 frames that are 85.5 mm wide.

There are 2 versions: Standard and Coated Bearings. The CeramicSpeed bearings are installed in cups and connected through the shell. Both have super-round CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel races. CeramicSpeed coated bearings have an additional feature: a 3-micron-thick metallic layer on the races. This addition makes the races harder and smoother, reducing friction and increasing service life.
