The Shimano TL-FC25 bottom bracket tool is a glass fibre reinforced resin adapter designed for fitting and removing modern bottom bracket cups. It fits into a standard Hollowtech II spanner, such as the TL-FC32 or TL-FC36, to reduce its opening size. It is compatible with SM-BBR60, BB-MT800 and BB-MT801 bottom brackets.
It does not work on its own: a Hollowtech II spanner is always required. Use it carefully and avoid excessive torque, as the resin is the tool's weak point. Check that your bottom bracket is among the compatible models listed.
