Our XOXO ECO city helmet is made largely from recycled materials, making a statement in favour of more sustainable urban mobility.

STATEMENT PER UNA MORE SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY XOXO ECO is the ideal companion for urban commuters who consciously travel without a car every day and are committed to more sustainable mobility: all components of the city helmet are made partly or entirely from recycled materials*. A practical slider at the back of the head lets you easily adjust the helmet to your head shape for a perfect fit that lasts all day. And the chin buckle? A reliable clip mechanism that can withstand any pressure, ensuring the helmet always stays securely in place. The specially developed tubular padding on the buckle provides an even more comfortable fit: it prevents skin from being pinched when fastening the helmet and avoids uncomfortable pressure on the neck. *Recycled materials: EPS and the straps are made from 100% recycled materials, while the following components are partly recycled: ABS: 20 % recycled, adjustment system: 30 % recycled, padding: 84 % recycled padding material (Lycra) on the top + 100 % recycled velvet on the back + non-recycled PU foam. In addition, the joints require no glue or rivets.

Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a closure to secure the selected position

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro

Removable, washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Clip buckle: for safe, practical use, the straps feature a classic clip buckle (three-prong connection) for opening and closing

Hard-shell construction: manufacturing process in which the injection-moulded hard plastic outer shell is placed over the shock-absorbing rigid foam, providing particular robustness and protection

Founded in 1924 in Volmarstein, Germany, by August Bremicker and some of his sons, ABUS is now based in Wetter. It offers cyclists helmets and bicycle locks. Its connection with cycling dates back to 1931, when it launched its first bike lock, the No. 1000.
