The Targon is the modular full-face helmet for the most demanding mountain biking: with a removable rather than fixed chin bar, it offers maximum protection on descents and greater freedom on climbs; made in Italy.

SWITCH FAST, RIDE YOUR WAY The Targon modular full-face helmet is designed for everyone who gives their all off-road. Whether on challenging trails, steep descents or fast sections, in full-face mode it offers the protection you need, even when the challenges become demanding. Ideal for the bike park, on holiday or on the trails heading home! And when riding uphill? Simply remove the chin bar to let more air in. The chin bar can easily be carried on your arm or on the bike's handlebar. Once you reach the top, reattach the chin bar for full head and face protection on the descent. The easy-to-use Speed Latch mechanism lets you attach the chin bar quickly, without tightening or jerking movements. Practical features such as the Vario Pads and Zoom Rapid Fit adjustment system also ensure an optimal fit while riding.

Lower edge protection: the polycarbonate outer shell (PC) covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear

Zoom™ Rapid Fit adjustment system: precise helmet adjustment to the shape of your head using a dial connected to a thin nylon cable with a steel core - pressing the dial restores the starting position

Front eyewear holder: dedicated recess at the front of the helmet for storing glasses securely and aerodynamically while riding

Goggle holder: dedicated area under the helmet peak to secure goggles so they do not slip or fall

Speed Latch System™: for quickly attaching the chin bar to the helmet

Breakaway peak: high-quality peak to protect against sunlight and overhanging branches - thanks to special technology, it can detach in a fall to minimise the load on the neck

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro

Adjustable cheek pads: cheek padding with position adjustment via a sliding and locking mechanism for additional protection and a comfortable, secure fit of the full-face helmet

Removable and washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary

Stitched straps: for optimum aerodynamics, the straps are stitched and therefore require no dividers, so they sit particularly close and do not flap while riding

In-Mold process: a manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene material (EPS) is foamed directly into the polycarbonate outer shell (PC), creating a durable, robust bond

Injected carbon: plastic material reinforced with carbon fibres, ensuring high stability while keeping weight low

Magnetic buckle: the straps feature a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle that allows the fastening under the chin to be opened with one hand, even when wearing gloves

Founded in 1924 in Volmarstein, Germany, by August Bremicker and some of his sons, ABUS is now based in Wetter. It offers cyclists helmets and bicycle locks. Its connection with cycling dates back to 1931, when it launched its first bike lock, the No. 1000.
