PER DEMANDING TRAILS CliffHanger is the flagship trail model in the ABUS MTB range. This helmet offers reliable protection when descending and climbing on an enduro bike. Lightweight, ventilated and with an adjustable TriVider strap - these are CliffHanger's strengths. The special adjustment system for MTB also ensures that the helmet fits comfortably and stays securely on your head when speeding over the roughest rocky terrain. The EPS structure is enclosed in a three-part outer shell. This ensures low weight and stability. The integrated Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) can reduce impact by up to 40% in the event of an angled impact. CliffHanger offers optimal conditions for high speeds and demanding trails.

Lower-edge protection: the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the helmet's lower edge and protects against scratches, knocks and signs of wear

Ponytail opening: thanks to the cut-out in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet also accommodates long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Mips Layer: a thin plastic shell between the inner padding and helmet shell that absorbs energy to counteract rotational forces in a fall

Height-adjustable peak: the peak can be adjusted using set positions to provide optimal protection from overhanging branches and sunlight

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individually adjusting the helmet to head circumference

Trivider™: particularly flat strap divider with fixed strap positioning to prevent unintended adjustments

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro

Removable, washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Magnetic buckle: the straps feature a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle that allows the chin strap to be opened with one hand, even while wearing gloves

In-Mold process: a manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable, robust bond
