How to choose your Wilier bike

Choosing a Wilier bike starts with the routes you ride and the riding position that suits you best. This category includes road bikes with disc brakes, gravel bikes, hardtail MTB, e-MTB and used road bikes, as well as Wilier wheels and accessories. Compare the specifications of individual builds to see which meets your needs.

  • Road: for training and rides on tarmac, consider geometry, gearing and wheels. Models include the Wilier Verticale SLR Ultegra Di2 and Garda.
  • Gravel: for riding on both tarmac and unpaved tracks, consider tyres, gearing and luggage mounts. The Wilier Jena GRX is one of the options available, alongside Jareen, Jaroon and Rave.
  • MTB: a hardtail has a suspension fork and a rigid rear end. The Wilier USMA SL falls into this category.
  • E-MTB: pedal assistance helps you tackle climbs and elevation gain. Compare the motor, battery and suspension in the model specifications.

For sizing, height is only the starting point: inside leg measurement, proportions and mobility also matter. Nominal sizes can vary between models. Our bike fitting service helps assess your position and contact points.

For materials, check the frame and fork of your chosen build. Carbon, aluminium and steel have different characteristics, but comfort and handling also depend on geometry, tyres and wheels. With groupsets, a single chainring simplifies shifting; a double offers more combinations. Choose gearing to suit the climbs you ride and your fitness.

To compare Wilier bike prices, consider the complete build and, for used bikes, their condition and components too. Consult the guide to used road bikes for guidance.

Frequently asked questions

Which Wilier bikes can I find at Evolution Bikes?

The category includes road bikes with disc brakes, gravel bikes, hardtail MTB, e-MTB and used road bikes. You will also find Wilier wheels and accessories; check the product page for available sizes and builds.

How do I compare Wilier bike prices?

Compare models with similar intended uses and builds. The frame, groupset, wheels and, for e-MTB, motor and battery help explain the differences; for used bikes, also consider condition and components.

Should I choose a Wilier road bike or gravel bike?

A road bike is designed for tarmac. A gravel bike also lets you ride unpaved tracks suited to the model's tyres and characteristics: choose according to the routes you will ride most often.

How do I choose the size of a Wilier bike?

Start with the model's size chart and your measurements, particularly height and inside leg. Proportions and mobility matter: the bike fitting service can help you assess your position.
