The Shimano TL-HG09 lockring tool is used to fit and remove the lockring on the CS-HG70-S (Capreo) cassette. It is made from hardened steel, a material suited to withstanding the torque required for tightening and removal.
This is a dedicated tool: you only need it if your wheel has a Capreo CS-HG70-S cassette, typically found on bikes with small wheels. Check compatibility before buying, as it is not designed for other cassette standards. The pack contains 1 TL-HG09 tool.
