Syncros AM Grips

When the trail heads downhill, you need control, comfort and precision. You get all three from our new AM grips. Scientifically designed using rider pressure data, we looked at where hands hold the grips and what riders intend to do in terms of control when pushing the bike to its limits. All-mountain riders tend to adopt a more relaxed position than cross-country riders, and the grips are designed accordingly, with an additional load-bearing area on top and a dedicated space for the middle finger, which applies considerable pressure. Multi-density rubber, control chevrons and an ergonomic profile provide the perfect balance between comfort and control. Syncros was founded in 1986 on Vancouver’s North Shore by Peter Hamilton and Pippin Osborne, who handcrafted the first aluminium components. Since 2012, it has been part of SCOTT Sports, based in Givisiez, Switzerland. Today, it offers wheels, saddles, integrated handlebars and accessories to accompany cyclists on trails, roads, gravel and city streets.
